Polymax, Polyfiber, Ektalure, Velox and Medalist were all made in G surface. The surface of the paper makes all the difference when forming the image working with various resists. I have a box of Charcoal R 8x10 and a box of Portrait Silk 8x10 (1972). Some of my first chemigrams were made on the Charcoal R in 1981. As we all know you can't tell a silver paper by its cover and who would have guessed this old Luminos would really shine.
